New Edition of Greek New Testament to Be Available for iPhone and Droid

In the “News & Events” section on the web site of Bethel University, St. Paul, Minnesota, January 6, 2011, an article titled, “Bethel Professor Makes History,” Dana Morrison reports on a new edition of the Greek New Testament. The Society of Biblical Literature enlisted Professor Michael W. Holmes as the project’s sole editor with the goal of making the finished product available for iPhone, Droid, and eBook users.

“‘Everything I’ve done for 35 years has led up to this,’ said Bethel Professor Mike Holmes, reflecting on the online and print release of the new edition of the Greek New Testament that he recently completed. Holmes, professor of biblical studies and early Christianity, spent his yearlong sabbatical leave working as sole editor on the new edition.”
